The SPDR NYSE Technology ETF ( XNTK ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 1.2 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 82,000. Shares of XNTK were up about 1.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Oracle ( ORCL ), trading up about 0.9% with over 26.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Micron Technology ( MU ), up about 3% on volume of over 20.0 million shares. Netflix ( NFLX ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 4.5% on the day, while Netease ( NTES ) is lagging other components of the SPDR NYSE Technology ETF, trading lower by about 2%.
