The best performing sector as of midday Tuesday is the Healthcare sector, higher by 0.5%. Within the sector, Allergan PLC (Symbol: AGN) and Mylan NV (Symbol: MYL) are two of the day's stand-outs, showing a gain of 26.7% and 4.0%, respectively. Among healthcare ETFs , one ETF following the sector is the Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (Symbol: XLV), which is down 0.1% on the day, and up 8.48% year-to-date. Allergan PLC, meanwhile, is up 23.93% year-to-date, and Mylan NV, is down 31.84% year-to-date. Combined, AGN and MYL make up approximately 1.8% of the underlying holdings of XLV.

The next best performing sector is the Materials sector, up 0.4%. Among large Materials stocks, Mosaic Co (Symbol: MOS) and Ball Corp (Symbol: BLL) are the most notable, showing a gain of 3.3% and 1.3%, respectively. One ETF closely tracking Materials stocks is the Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF ( XLB ), which is up 0.3% in midday trading, and up 16.13% on a year-to-date basis. Mosaic Co , meanwhile, is down 16.91% year-to-date, and Ball Corp is up 48.61% year-to-date. Combined, MOS and BLL make up approximately 4.6% of the underlying holdings of XLB.
