Technology stocks were fractionally higher in recent trading, with the shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 adding less than 0.1% in value while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was rising 0.3%.

(+) Apple ( AAPL ) was fractionally lower in recent trading after reporting a 19.9% drop in iPhone shipments to China during the final three months of 2018 compared with the year-ago period, according to media reports, citing International Data Corp. The company placed fourth among five smartphone manufacturers selling in China during Q4.

(+) Camtek ( CAMT ) rose 8.4% on Monday after announcing a deal selling a 20.5% equity stake in the semiconductor inspections company to Chroma Ate Inc, a Taiwanese precision testing and measurement equipment manufacturer. Chroma Ate paid $74.3 million, or $9.50 for each of the more than 7.82 million shares and representing a 29% premium to Friday's closing price.
(-) Real Goods Solar ( RGSE ) slid 9.6% lower on Monday after the photovoltaic panels manufacturer said it will delist its Class A common stock from the Nasdaq Capital Market and will begin trading on the OTCQX over-the-counter market on Feb. 15.
