American depositary receipts of European stocks were trading 0.13% higher at 141.69 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Monday.
In continental Europe, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Oasmia Pharmaceutical ( OASM ), and geophysical equipment company CGG ( CGG ), which rose 6.0% and 1.2% respectively. Also rising were biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ), and software vendor Talend ( TLND ), which were up 1.5% and 0.3%.
The decliners in continental Europe were led by furniture maker Natuzzi ( NTZ ), and 3D printer company voxeljet (VJET), which lost 3.6% and 2.4% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical firm Forward Pharma (FWP),which dropped 2.3%.
In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical firm GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH), and telecommunications giant BT (BT), which climbed 1.5% and 1.2% respectively. They were followed by airline operator Ryanair (RYAAY), and cruise line operator Carnival (CUK), which rose 1.1% and 1.0%.
The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by communications company WPP (WPP), and biopharmaceutical company Adaptimmune Therapeutics (ADAP), which fell 5.9% and 2.9% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical firm Akari Therapeutics (AKTX), and pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca (AZN), which shed 1.9% and 1.8%.
