All three major indexes hit record levels in early trading on Tuesday as healthcare stocks rose on robust earnings and investors remained upbeat about a cut in corporate taxes.

At 9:53 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.21 percent at 23,597.95. The S&P 500 was up 0.22 percent at 2,596.72 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.09 percent at 6,792.705.
