Argentina July Primary Surplus ARS803.5 Million
BUENOS AIRES--Argentina posted a primary surplus of 803.5 million pesos ($139 million) in July, ARS274.8 million greater than the surplus in the same month a year earlier.
The fiscal balance is a broad measure of government revenue less spending.
During the first seven months of the year, the government posted a primary surplus of ARS5.53 billion, the economy ministry said in a statement.
The government reported a fiscal deficit--which includes debt payments--of ARS2.73 billion in July.
